Client feedback on these offerings

  • Do your mind, body, and soul a favor and schedule a session with her today.

Mekensy is a kind spirit with a gentle soul, thoughtful, and patient. Her tailored yoga practice is a great mix of strength, flow, deep breathing, and relaxation. I love my weekly sessions. Mekensy guides us through each movement, making sure we are doing it correctly. Having a virtual class in my own space, no matter where I might be, makes it easy to not miss a weekly session. I appreciate her personal way she matches the movement with our physical challenges.

  • 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanted to test the waters of reiki or yoga.

I had an incredibly insightful reiki session with kensflow! It was magical and my first experience with reiki and I was blown away. Also if you’re a beginner with yoga as well, kensflow has very inclusive flows for all levels and doesn’t make you feel weird if you can’t do the right pose. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanted to test the waters of reiki or yoga. But also if you are more advanced she offers a variety of poses for you level!

  • After one 1 hour yoga session with Kens I was able to connect with my practice so much more!

Allowing me to flow more freely on my own! She is so personable and understanding and helped me unlock a few things I had been working on along with giving me many tips and techniques to work on in my inversion practice! I would highly recommend a 1:1 class with kensey, 1:1 classes allow for so much growth! You can beat a 1:1 class!

  • You have perfected leading a class it’s amazing to attend and be a part of.

Thank you so much for that yoga class! I’m obsessed 🥰 I came in late from work and you were in a cycle of child’s pose and I fell into that for my first pose and let out a huge sigh! It felt like all the stress of my day just melted off of me it was amazing and it just got better from there. I’m so glad I finally wasn’t working when you did one and was able to attend, and now I never want to miss one ever again! The things you transitioned into made some much sense to the body there were some times I felt my body doing something right before you suggested it, like wiggling my toes at the very end haha 😂 when we were all laying in silence at the end I felt like I could feel all our collective energy!

My formal practice began during a transitionary period of life when I was seeking the stability, connection, and confidence that yoga brought me. After pursuing a personal practice at home for a few months, I changed my degree path to pursue a B.S. in Kinesiology & Health Sciences, completed at Temple University. In this time I also became a Yoga Alliance Certified 200HR Yoga Instructor and Reiki II Practitioner.

My training is classically based in Tantra and Hatha, emphasizing preservation of the Vedic origins of the practice. I value the spiritual, expansive nature of yogic living, as well as the functional value of asana and breath work. As a result, my teaching style emphasizes safe, anatomical alignment in Yin, Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga, as a healing modality. But the most important and rewarding part of my role as yoga instructor is helping others take their practice off the mat.

In my personal practice, I am a devout hand-balancer and lover of all inversions. I also enjoy practicing aerial and partner acro!
